Stabilizers
Stabilizers are springs needed to suppress tilting of the vehicle body when cornering and changing lane. Depending on the degree of strength required by customers, hollow types and solid types are available.
Stabilizer Links (Housing Caulking)
This is a stabilizer link that uses a ball joint. By connecting the stabilizer to the left and right suspension, this component improves the effectiveness of the stabilizer.
Torsion Bars
These springs utilize the natural tension of twisted metal rods to return to their original shape. They are used for truck tilt cab suspensions and front suspensions for some trucks.
Valve Springs
Endowed with excellent durability, these high-quality springs support engine valves, which open and close at high speeds.
Wave Springs for Gearboxes
By controlling actuation of the hydraulic piston in the AT and CVT clutch section, the wave spring contributes to shock mitigation and improved feeling when engaging the clutch.
Damper Springs
Damper springs absorb engine vibrations in the lock-up damper or HEV damper of the transmission.
Return Springs
Used in transmissions (AT/CVT), return spring materials can be selected from round cross sections, irregular cross sections, etc.
Laminated Leaf Springs (Holding Springs)
Laminated leaf springs adhere semiconductors to cooling media in inverters for EV and HEV motor control. Various shapes are available as needed, for example, laminated leaf springs, thin leaf springs, disc springs, and corrugated springs. They can also be applied for pressing for battery cells and fuel cell stacks.
Tapered Leaf Springs (Holding Springs)
Serving the same function as laminated leaf springs, i.e. adhering semiconductors to cooling media in inverters for EV and HEV motor control, tapered leaf springs optimize stress by gradually changing the plate thickness into a tapered shape, thereby realizing a single sheet.
Spring Grid Array
The spring grid array is a sheet spring consisting of several hundred small leaf springs. It can be used for applications such as vibration isolation, heat transfer, and electric current conduction.
Injector Springs
These small springs are used in fuel injectors.
Thin Leaf Springs
These springs are made from thin plates. They have no fixed shape, but are made into various forms depending on the intended use.
Wire Springs
NHK Spring offers compression coil springs, tension coil springs, torsion coil springs, and formed wire work springs for a wide variety of applications.
Metal Bellows Accumulators
An accumulator is a pressure vessel that stores energy in a liquid such as water or oil. Accumulators are used to (1) store energy (save energy, economize on electricity), (2) maintain pressure, (3) absorb shock, and (4) absorb pulsation (vibrations).
Automotive Motor Cores
These drive motor cores, which are intended for EVs and HEVs, are the iron cores of the magnets in the rotating section (rotor) and stationary section (stator) of the motor. They comprise hundreds of laminated electromagnetic steel sheets of 0.25 mm to 0.35 mm thickness. Because the product size entails strict dimensional tolerances, high-precision press working technology is needed.
Automotive Motor Cores (Split Type)
This is a core for drive motors for EVs and HEVs. This product is an iron core consisting of the motor's rotating part (rotor) and fixed part (stator). 0.25 mm to 0.35 mm electromagnetic steel sheets are stamped out and laminated into several hundred pieces. The size of the product has strict dimensional tolerances and requires high-precision press working techniques.

This type of seat improves fatigue in the driver's thighs, circulatory balance in the lower limbs, and buttock pain caused by prolonged sitting. It is a development product intended for use in automated driving vehicles.
Seats for Car Sickness Mitigation
This seat is a development product intended to reduce driver's car sickness. It was developed in response to concerns about growing incidence of driver's car sickness due to increased use of smartphones and PCs due to the evolution of self-driving cars.
Door Sunshades
Roll-type sunshades, which are built into rear seat doors, help to create a comfortable cabin space by protecting against sunburn and blocking out light.
Tonneau Covers
These roll-type cargo space blindfold covers help to prevent theft and protect privacy.
Screws and Bolts
Our group company Topura manufactures screws for use in various products such as automobiles, home appliances, and ships. Its products include small 3mm screws, tapping screws, bolts of sizes exceeding 16mm, and resin-integrated molded bolts.
Aluminum Substrate
This aluminum-based substrate is endowed with excellent workability and heat dissipation performance. It is widely used mainly in automotive applications.
Copper Substrate
Endowed with excellent heat dissipation performance, this copper-based substrate is used for applications requiring high heat dissipation.
Iron Substrate
This iron-based substrate is endowed with excellent workability and better heat dissipation performance than resin substrate.
Direct Bonded Insulator Circuit (DB-I/C)
This development product is a heat-dissipating substrate having a heat sink-integrated structure. We anticipate that it will be used for power semiconductors such as drive inverters, IGBT modules, and SiC applications.
Control Cables
Our group company NHK Flex produces control cables. These are flexible wire-type cables that can transmit pulling, pushing, and rotating forces by remote action. They are used in various parts of automobiles, such as parking brakes, seat reclining, fuel tank and hood unlocking and more.
